Yoko Ono said that if John were alive in the 80s, he would have been pioneering his way through electronic music and using the technology to execute his genius in that way. They could make good music no matter what their instrumentation was…how many artists were using sitars at the time? Or full orchestras? Or brass sections? The Beatles were creative geniuses when put together, and still strikingly good apart.
