    @ninmecu I disagree …
    @ninmecu I disagree. Yoko Ono said that if John were alive in the 80s, he would have been pioneering his way through electronic music and using the technology to execute his genius in that way. They could make good music no matter what their instrumentation was…how many artists were using sitars at the time? Or full orchestras? Or brass sections? The Beatles were creative geniuses when put together, and still strikingly good apart.

    noytonly is their …
    noytonly is their music timeless, but without them, what would classic rock sound like. what would we be listening to now, what bands would not have formed if not for the beatles.Everything aligned perfectly the day John met Paul. They had the three of the greatest music writer’s in history .The closest my generation will ever see to a band as d talented and nonconformist is Radiohead. And I doubt they would have formed if not for the Beatles and the bands they influenced. So you.

    While true, they …
    While true, they are talented, in this day and age I don’t think the beatles would have gotten as much love/fame/coverage as they did due to mainstream, the changing of the times and the fact that their new music would qualify as “Classic Rock”-esque rather then music of the time. But in no way am I saying they aren’t good, just pointing out opinion :p
