One thing that makes me laugh is when you watch this compared with the American versions the crowd start woo-hoo-ing and yelling when the lead comes on whereas in UK and rest of Europe it’s a bit quieter.
@ … @OtherRoadProductions I planned on going to a performance here in the Netherlands… but was hospitalised just before that period… something I still can’t get over really..: I didn’t even bought tickets as that was all planned before (allthough re-selling the tickets probably wouldn’t have been such a problem I guess)
@lelorien the same … @lelorien the same way the ornate costumes came to be in competitions – traditionally irish dancers danced “in their sunday best” after church and whatnot so the style evolved but stayed as intricate as it was originally.
