			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://i.ytimg.com/vi/F6oSRNBs2-U/2.jpg" align="left">The Advanced Lights Out Management system on the Sun Fire T2000 server is its own operating system, which acts independent of the Solaris operating environment at a hardware level, where temperature and power sensors, events, and detailed manufacturer information can be looked up.  Has its own user database and listens on the dedicated rj-45 management port after configuration via a rs232-db9 cable has set the interface up.  Think BIOS/CMOS, then think of the most complex server operating system, Solaris, and then think the internet and the possibility of managing and maintaining the whole system from anywhere, vpn or through a ssh tunnel if you like.  It&#8217;s just telnet, so it works with any os that supports tcp/ip and serial access.</p>
