I need to put an extinguiser at my car but Im afraid about the sun exposure, the car under sun get so hot during the day, can this affect it or may the direct sun exposition cause a detonation. Where is the correct place to put it?
Thank you
The heat will not affect your extinguisher.
The best place to mount the bracket is probably the trunk.
In the passenger compartment makes it hard to get at in most cars.
If you can’t get to the trunk to make use of it, it won’t be effective anyway.

most likely it wouldnt explore or anything, but i wouldnt recommend storing it in a hot area. the expansion of gases could push the PSI beyond what the container is rated for.

If you absolutely NEED an extinguisher, as opposed to trying to be cool with one in the vehicle that will never be used, then contact some of the manufacturers of the extinguishers for their expert input

The fire extinguisher shouldn’t have any problems in a car, and the best place to put it is probably going to be under the driver’s seat so it will be easy to access in case of a fire and this will help block any potential sun damage.

Most dry type fire extinguishers are charged with Nitrogen gas and are unaffected by heat.
