Installing and booting Microsoft Windows Server 2003 to iSCSI on Sun PCI ExpressModule

Configuring the iSCSI firmware on a Sun X7284A-Z (375-3498) x4 PCI Express Quad Gigabit Ethernet UTP ExpressModule. This is a Static config without CHAP, to allow for booting from an iSCSI device. While this was recorded using a Sun HBA, it should work with any HBA with an iSCSI compatible Intel Chipset. You will need to download the iSCSIutl from Intel( http://tinyurl.com/yzsrerl )

Where do sun solaris is exactly used?

I wonder what kind of applications do Sun (Now Oracle) Solaris 10 does run? I know that it runs oracle database and a few web servers. But tell me more about solaris, How a solaris client-server configuration is formed and how much demand is there for solaris.

Not exactly sure what your question is, but there are many softwares for solaris. The question is what do you want to do with it?

But, there is still demand for Solaris based systems and there are still alot of servers deployed.
