The beginning of a new 11 year cycle would not be considered newsworthy except for all the idiotic doomsday predictions based on an alleged end of the Mayan calendar. Hollywood is cashing in on the "prophesy" by producing dozens of low-budget horror movies designed to create panic. The snooze media are not about to pass up any opportunity to cash in, either.
Last week, a new phenomenon was discovered by x-ray satellites. There appears to be a coronal hole stretching all the way around the sun. Scientists don’t know what it means. Odds are this is typical behavior at the beginning of a solar cycle, but it was never observed before because there were no x-ray satellites watching the sun eleven years ago. Of course, the snooze media are playing it up like the beginning of the end. IT’S TIME TO PANIC; 12/21/12 is drawing near!!!!

Mrs Janes is a grieving mother who has concerns about her son’s death.
The Sun was an easy vehicle for her to raise those concerns, and to put the boot into the person she (Rightly or wrongly) sees as being responsible for her son’s death. Grief can be a terrible burden to bear and very often it comes out as anger.
The Sun however has dispassionately abused this grief and anger of a grieving mother to further its political agenda in the most crass and underhand manner. Do not criticise the mother, the sole perpetrator of this decent into the gutter lies firmly and squarely at the feet of the Sun and Murdoch.
How dare they use the grief of a mother over her sons death to score cheap political points, whilst painting themselves as supporting our troops.
With freinds like that you wouldn’t need any enemies.
CDs I bought the the package of the six. They were Word Xp Introduction to computers, Explorer, Excel xp, Windows xp,
and Touch Type (Typing Tutor for Windows)
All of these tapes were great, except Touch Type my computer wont let me download it. Anyone else had this problem or any idea as to why. thanks in advance.
