How to you heat water without fire, electricity, or the sun?

I’m trying to think of a way to heat my fish tank. The sun would work, but I want to keep my fish inside. Fire would work, but a little bit too well. Electricity would power things that can heat my fish tank, which isn’t what I want.

Increasing the pressure would make it boil, but not heat it. That is my only scientific idea.
Some other thoughts…
blow on it (breath is 98.6 degrees…hopefully)
put it in a warm room in the house…such as an attic that has no ac
put it behind the fridge? i know this is kinda electricity…but more indirect. the fridge kicks out hot air to keep it cool inside.
well hope these ideas help!

ps…i dont think i would stir or dump random exothermic elements into my fishtank….i do not believe your poor fishies would enjoy that very much~! lol

Does it matter if the person is near sighted or far sighted?

Heck, Mac, the condition of one’s eyes has no effect on whether a lens can concentrate the sun’s energy or not! Oops…
The eye glasses of the near sighted (reading glasses) generally have a better lens shape for the job. But a magnifying glass works much better, due to its bi- convex constant shaping.

how high are the Flames of FIRE on the surface of the SUN..and how this might change througout the year?

roughly guessing..underneath the Flames..is there actually a hard surface? composed of what? and how people would know this?

also, where is it said the FIRE on the surface of the Sun came from?

Solar flares extend out to the layer of the Sun called the corona, millions of kilometres into space.

The frequency of flares coincides with the Sun’s eleven year cycle. When the solar cycle is at a minimum, active regions are small and rare and few solar flares are detected. These increase in number as the Sun approaches the maximum part of its cycle. The Sun will reach its next maximum in the year 2011, give or take one year.

There is no hard surface on the Sun. The Sun is a giant ball of plasma, which basically means super-hot gas that emmits light. Inside the Sun, temperatures and pressures are so high that hydrogen atoms are fused together to form helium, and a lot of energy is released in the process.
