the reason why I am asking is that it is so tight you can barely get your hand to the filter. and when you do feel the filter there is hardly any room to move your hand in order to turn the filter and certain wrenches do not fit if they do they keep slipping off. so I have been removing the passenger wheel and reaching the oil filter that way but there must be an easier way besides taking it to a garage.
This type usually works best for me;

There are different sizes. Really huge for commercial trucks. Regular large for like most V8 motors. Next size down should fit yours. Ask the auto parts store for the right size for your filter to be on the safe side. They do make ones you can fit on a ratchet too, but the swivel handle on this type often come in handy. And most of the ratchet attached ones don’t seem to hold up for long. Look for KD/Lisle brand, and chances are you’ll be able to hand it down to your kids when you’re too old to use it anymore. Plews makes a pretty decent one too.
Two weeks ago the "Sun" newspaper led a campaign to bring back hanging within the United Kingdom for murder. Yet several years ago, this is the same paper that made an hero out of the Norfolk farmer Tony Martin, who could have been hanged if the UK still had the death penalty… what do you think to this?
There is a great deal of hypocrisy attached to the Sun Newspaper, and this is just another case.
Morgan,
I’m new to information security and trying to learn what some of the default system account IDs such as listen, nobody, nobody4, and noaccess do or waht their functions are so I can justify them as part of a generic ID registration process. Do you have any ideas or can you point me to a good link that would contain this info. I’ve spent about 2 hours today surfing the web for answers and found about half of the answers, but the IDs above are still eluding me.
Thanks
Short answer, "yes":
$ grep listen /etc/passwd
listen:x:37:4:Network Admin:/usr/net/nls:
Note, however, that it is not a *login* account:
# grep listen /etc/shadow
listen:*LK*:::::::
This may mean that it is used by a daemon which
doesn’t always want to work under uid 0. You might
take note that there *is* a "listen" daemon, which
might be a pretty good place to start investigating
Also, see:
man listen
man nlsadmin

I am trying to install Sun StorEdge 3300 disk array on my Sunfire 420 server running Solaris 9. I have connected Disk array to servers with SCSI cables, but when i use format command i dont see this disk array. I am also not able to connect to disk array using "null modem serial cable".Can somebody help me in this?
After you plugged the disk array into the 420, did you reboot by dropping down to the "ok" prompt and doing a "boot -r". Or the equivalent is to do a :
touch /reconfigure
reboot
as root from within the OS. You have to do a reconfig in order for Solaris to pick up new devices.
